🔑 Raleigh Google Token Generator

Sign in with Google & Generate Token

Now do steps 3–6 below using this value for GOOGLE_OAUTH_REFRESH_TOKEN.

Why am I here again? This app's Google connection is currently in "Testing" mode (not fully published/verified), which means Google automatically expires this key roughly every 7 days — this is expected, not a sign something's broken. Redoing it takes about 3 minutes with the steps below.

Full process — start to finish

  1. Click the green button above. Sign in with raleighcontent@gmail.com (not your personal account), and click Allow on the permissions screen.
  2. You'll land back on this page with a green box showing a new token. Click Copy token.
  3. Go to Cloudflare Dashboard → Workers & Pages → raleighphotosearch → Settings → Environment Variables.
  4. Edit GOOGLE_OAUTH_REFRESH_TOKEN — delete the old value, paste in the new one, Save.
(The Client ID and Secret shown below this box shouldn't normally need changing too — but if this is the first time since those were reset, double-check GOOGLE_OAUTH_CLIENT_ID and GOOGLE_OAUTH_CLIENT_SECRET match what's shown below as well.)
  5. Important — don't skip this one: saving the environment variable alone doesn't always make it take effect. Go to Deployments, click the "..." next to the most recent deployment, and choose Retry deployment. (If that option isn't there, re-uploading the site's zip file works just as well.) Wait ~30 seconds for it to finish.
  6. Still in Cloudflare, go to Storage & Databases → KV → raleigh-photos, find the row called videocache, and delete it.
  7. Go back to the app, reload the page, and open the Videos section — it should work again.

Reference — Client ID & Secret

These almost never need to change. Only check these against Cloudflare if step 4 above still gives an error after updating the refresh token.
